Is your child involved in a local sports team? While many team organizations provide uniforms for all team members, they might not provide casual shirts for team outings or other events. Luckily, you can make team shirts at home as long as you have an iron. The video below is a great demonstration of how to make simple team t-shirts.
First, make sure you have the right sizes of t-shirts for all team members.
Since the team organization likely provided uniforms, they likely have the sizing information you need. Once you have a plain t-shirt for every team member, wash them all to make sure they don’t shrink after you apply your designs to them.
In the video, the host uses iron-on letters and numbers from a craft store to create custom team shirts with the last name and number of every team member. This is a great place to start if you’re a novice at crafting. All you have to do is peel the letters and numbers from the backing, position them where you want them, and iron them in place. You can get more creative if you have access to other craft supplies.
If DIYing team shirts isn’t up your alley, many online stores create custom t-shirts.
